Aftermarket spare parts can reduce costs significantly, but only when the supplier maintains strict quality control. Here is what separates premium parts from cheap imitations.

Material Grade
Undercarriage components should be made from boron or manganese alloy steel, not generic structural steel. GET parts need high-abrasion alloys with controlled hardness.

Heat Treatment
Induction hardening to a documented hardness range (typically 45–52 HRC) determines wear life. Ask for the heat treatment specification.

Dimensional Accuracy
Premium suppliers maintain OEM-equivalent tolerances so that links, pins, and bushings fit without modification. A wrong pitch destroys sprockets in weeks.

Compatibility
Always verify the exact machine model and serial number range. Undercarriage is not universal — D6 and D7 class components are not interchangeable.

Traceability
Trusted suppliers provide batch traceability and quality certificates, so you know exactly what is installed in your machine.
